And that's not even getting into the cesspit of pirated games and garbage porn ROMs disguised as ROM hacks that the Steam Workshop for this collection has became and idiots turning it to crappy warez platform. Even the 'Hub' launcher's biggest claim to fame, 'modding' support - which in layman's terms means ROM hacks for games - has been reported to not be able to save your game's progress when playing games with mods enabled. The 'Hub' launcher is even worse, it's a glorified 3D 90's styled interface where you select your games that uses a shoddier emulation in a poorly optimized Unity engine shell and the room itself will tank the performance of the game's you're tying to enjoy if your PC is not good enough to handle it. The 'Simple' launcher is passible (to put it lightly) but it seems like that it has problems with 4K resolutions unless you use a program like Lossless Scaling as a workaround, the audio isn't quite right, and the settings are fairly limited and barebones. There's a nice collection of classic Sega Genesis games to be found here, it's too bad the forms of emulation that Sega went with are mediocre and inaccurate to the 16-bit system that I grew up with.
